We were out at my in laws' place yesterday near the river. There was a fabulous storm in the north so I snapped a few (144!) shots. They're just handheld because I didn't have my tripod with me, so they aren't as good as I would have liked. But it's a start!
I'm an MSc student in genetic counselling at UBC. Photography is my favourite hobby when I get a chance to do it :)

I love how bright the first one is! I'm pretty impressed...I haven't tried in a long time to photograph lightning but it's really difficult....
144 sounds about right! I took more than that and ended up with nothing, so I'd say you had a good night! They're beautiful!
They turned out awesome! So much better than anything I've ever managed to capture
