New lens, New pictures!

My wonderful husband bought me a new lens for Christmas! It's the Pentax FA 50mm f1.4 and I LOVE it! I've wanted this lens for a while now. Here are a few of the pictures I've taken with it- including a few from Vancouver Aquarium. Love the jellyfish!

Christmas!

I've been absolutely swamped with school, but here are a couple of photos of our very first Christmas tree- real and everything! It makes me sad I won't be spending Christmas at home in Saskatoon this year :(

All I got was this lousy thesis

Well, it's been a while. I managed to finish my PhD (FINALLY!!!!!!) in July and I moved to Vancouver a few weeks ago. We're all settled now and I'm starting my new program next week :)

Tulips make me happy

So I've been incredibly busy and stressed, so I haven't posted in a long time! I had some bad news this week, so my lovely mother in law bought me some beautiful tulips. I couldn't resist taking a million pictures of them, so here they are.
